32 Weeks!

Wow, time is starting to really go fast. You have been able to watch our baby grow each week, but thought I would share how I have been growing! I feel huge, but pretty good. We are still struggling with names-Does anyone else find this to be VERY difficult? We are getting things accomplished and cannot wait for baby to arrive.

Making progress. . .

So I feel like lately our lives revolve around this LONG list of things that need to get accomplished before baby arrives. So I thought I'd share some of the progress that we have made. I am decorating the baby's room with ladybugs, so here are a few things I have made for her room: These will hang on the wall and eventually when we pick out a name, each will have a letter on it spelling her name.
These are curtains that I made for her room.
And best of all. . . this is the bed that Noel made for Evan so that we can give his convertable crib to the baby. It turned out really awesome and Evan loves it!!!

Now we just have to build the closet in our room, carpet the baby's room, find a dresser for baby, get all of the baby clothes/toys etc. out of the attic, and on and on and on. . .

Happy New Year!!

Sorry it has been so long since I have posted. The pregnancy brain makes me forget a lot!! :-) So here is an update on everything since my last post:
Baby girl is doing well. She's getting crowded in there and is VERY active! Only about 11 more weeks to go. We have painted her room (green) and I am going to put lots of red, black and white accents in the room including ladybugs. I will post a picture once I get more done.

We had a very good Christmas. Evan got everything he wanted, and more! We did some fun things during the season like go to the Snowdrop adventure at Penitentiary Glen.

PROJECTS, PROJECTS, PROJECTS
We have been doing lots of projects to try and get the house in order before baby comes. Noel is building a bed for Evan, so we can give the crib to the baby. I do not have any pictures right now, but will post some when its done.
The next project he is going to tackle is building a closet across one wall in our bedroom, so I can take my clothes out of the baby's room. So I got inspired to do something with our room. As you can see from our blog background, we love the beach, so I tried to do something tropical. I am pretty pleased with it. It is going to be kinda like a headboard for our bed.

Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving to all. We hope you all had a great holiday! We took a trip down to N.C. to visit my brother and his family. We had a really great time. We had my whole side of the family together for the first time in a LONG time. Evan really enjoyed playing with his cousins, Madison and Grant. While the girls went to our annual craft show Friday morning the boys went to the Marble Museum and had all kinds of fun sawing, fishing, and dressing up.

IT'S A GIRL!!!!!

We had our 21 week ultrasound today and found out we are having a girl!! We are very excited as I was hoping for a girl this time. She is very active and they said everything looks great on the ultrasound. They did some 3D images, but I don't think they are as clear as the 2D, mostly because her arm was in front of her face/head, so it was harder for them to get a good shot of her face. Oh well, only 19 more weeks until we get to meet her! YIPEE!!

Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween to everyone. We hope everyone had a safe and fun night. Here is us with our carved pumpkins. Evan enjoyed painting baby's pumpkin.
Here they are all lit up. Then we went to a Halloween party at our friends house. They played some fun games like a mummy race, and had lots of yummy food. Evan only went trick-or-treating for about 15 minutes and then wanted to go back home.
