Red Hot Deal!!!!

Noel and I went out today to take a look at cars. We have been thinking about selling mine since it is a small sports car (Mitsubishi Eclipse GT) and is not the best family car. We were looking for something good on gas mileage, with 4 doors and cheap!! We went to one dealership and this was the second car we looked at. It is a Volvo s40, fully loaded with leather heated seats, dual climate control, only 17,000 miles on it and lots of other cool features and it was cheaper than the other cars we were looking at!!! It seemed too good to be true, but we couldn't pass up this deal so we GOT IT!! YEAH!! I am so excited to have something newer and easier to transport others.

Evan has started swimming lessons every Monday and Wednesday evenings. He is doing awesome. He goes non-stop the entire time he is in the pool-he's a natural!!
He has learned to kick and scoop with his arms,

He has learned to blow bubbles,

And he throws a ball and can swim to get it.

Girls Day Out

On Saturday, I went with two other friends to Columbus where there was a quilt show. We left around 7am and did not get home until 10pm! So it was a really nice girls day out. There were over 400 quilts at this show and they were absolutely amazing. I also found some really cool fabrics to try and make my second quilt!! I am so excited to get started. Here are some of my favorite quilts at the show...

We found this really cool place called the North Market for lunch. It was similar to the West Side Market if anyone has been there. It was a huge building filled with any and every kind of cuisine you could think of. We had some delicious pasta (fresh made bowtie with tomato alfredo sauce) mmmm... good!!

Then on the way home we went to this awesome icecream shop called Graeters and had some peanut butter chip icecream. YUMMY!!

Strawberry Picking

Evan and I went strawberry picking with Grandma Debbie on Monday. He had fun tasting all of the berries!! YUMMY!

Evan (and Dad's) New Toy!!

We decided to buy Evan his own playset this year. It is really cool and he loves it. It has 3 swings, a climbing wall, a rope ladder, a parascope, a wheel, and a slide. FUN, FUN, FUN!!!

Rock Climbing Trip

Noel spent the weekend in West Virginia rock climbing with his brother, Nick, and Jackie's brother, Greg. They had great weather and Noel had a lot of fun just hanging out with the guys! Evan and I spent the weekend together at home and thanks to our wonderful neighbors I survived the weekend! (Thanks Kristen and Ryan!!) We sure are glad to have Noel/Dad back home!
