Merry Christmas!

We hope everyone had a very merry Christmas. We sure did. We went to my sister's new house on Christmas Eve and had an awesome dinner and a fun time. Evan had a lot of fun playing with their new kitten, Atwood.

Then on Christmas morning, Evan woke up to a train set on the living room floor and a couch FULL of presents, which he didn't even notice until an hour later! He was too busy playing with his new train set. Then we went to Noel's mom's house for more gifts and food.

My gift to Noel was a quilt that I made with a lot of help from my wonderful neighbor. It turned out beautiful and Noel really loves it!

Candy, Candy, Candy

On Friday, we went to visit a life size version of the game Candyland. They give you cards that look just like the game pieces and you have to run around the path and find the correct space. Evan did awesome! He had a blast running around and he matched all of the colors and pictures perfectly!

Then we got invited over to the neighbors house to make gingerbread houses. Noel and I had so much fun creating and building the house and Evan had fun eating all of the candy. Thanks so much Ellsworth's for providing all of the supplies and laughs!!

Search for the perfect tree!

On Friday, we set out to find the perfect Christmas tree. Even though it was bitter cold, we had a lot of fun running through the trees and searching for our tree.

Happy Thanksgiving!

We took a trip down to North Carolina to visit my brother and his family for Thanksgiving. We had a great time. Evan especially loved playing with his cousins. We have never seen him have so much fun and when we left he kept saying ‘I wanna go to Grant and Madison’s house’.
We found a fun Children’s Museum there which was similar to our Science Center but better. We got to go on a train ride, visit a butterfly house, and see lots of really cool animals and exhibits.

While we were there Evan did not nap during the day and at night he would not stay in the pack-n-play. He would climb out and play with all of Grant’s toys until he was completely exhausted and crash wherever he was. We decided to just put him in a blowup kids bed for the rest of the trip and he did pretty well. Now that we are home, he doesn’t want to stay in his crib, and as I write he is climbing out of his crib!

And our greatest accomplishment of the trip was this huge Geotrax system that we built with every piece of Geotrax that they own. The ‘kids’ had a lot of fun playing with all of the trains.

Science Extravaganza!

We had a fun trip to the Science Center on Noel's b-day! He took the day off work and we played all day long. Here are some pics of our fun at this amazing place. We cannot wait to go back again.

1.What is his name? Noel David Lindic
2.Who eats more? He definitely eats more by about 200%!
3.Who said I love you first? Wow, that was probably about 15 years ago, so who knows!
4.Who's taller? Noel is by about 4 inches.
5.Who is smarter? I think book smarts its definitely me, but life smarts its him.
6.Who is more sensitive? I am definitely more sensitive than he.
7.Who does the laundry? Its officially his chore now, we swapped for dishes and its nice to have a break-I hate laundry!
8.Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? Noel does

9.Who does the bills? I have total control over them, and would never give it up! :-)
10.Who cooks more? I definitely do, I love to have dinner ready for Noel when he gets home from a hard days work. He brings home the bacon and I cook it!!
11.What meals do you cook together? He is very good at helping out with dinner many nights of the week, when life gets in the way and I don't have it done when he gets home.
12.Who is more stubborn? He is definitely more stubborn than I.
13.Who is the first to admit they're wrong? That would be me, hence the last question-he is stubborn!

15.Who wears the pants in the relationship? I'd say we share them.
16.What do you like to do together? spend quality time with Evan, go on dates, go for walks, we used to play tennis which was fun and I miss a lot, mostly just relax.
17.Who eats more sweets? oooh, that's a tough one. I take secret trips to the custard shop and I think he takes secret trips to the vending machine at work. Sweets are our weakness!

18.Guilty pleasures? CUSTARD!!!!! Cheesecake, and keylime pie. mmmmm...
19.How did you meet? He was my brothers best friend in high school, one thing led to another and ta-da, here we are!!
20.Who asked who out first? He asked my out with some urging from my best friend!
21.Who kissed who first? I believe he kissed me.
22.Who proposed? Noel proposed, the day he brought the ring home, he couldn't keep it a secret!
23.His best features? Oh, his eyes, his smile (s%*#-eating grin), his legs, his nose, ugh, you name it, and I love it!!
24.What is his greatest quality? His ability to put everything into perspective, especially when I start to blow it out of proportion. Also, his sense of humor, gotta love a man that can make you laugh! And most of all he is an awesome father!
